Sunset Peak Cottage is a 2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom modern rustic cabin tucked away in the forest and perched on the side of the mountain. Begin to unwind as you turn onto the easy-to-navigate gravel drive through the valley and over a quaint-covered bridge. You'll awaken to the sounds of birds calling and the distant rushing water of the Ellijay River in the valley below. Prop open the bedroom and living room French doors and enjoy the private screen porch with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine as the sun peaks through the treetops.
Relax in the hot tub on the upper deck, curl up with a book on the lower deck, or binge-watch your favorite movie in the cozy living room. If adventure is in your blood, you’ll love the opportunity to hike, trout fish, kayak, tube, horseback ride, zip-line and so much more. If you’re not in the mood to cook in our fully stocked kitchen, head into town to enjoy one of our fabulous restaurants in Blue Ridge or Ellijay. Sunset Peak Cottage is the perfect place to escape and connect with your loved one!

The location.
River Bend is a charming neighborhood of log cabins a short drive from Atlanta right off of Hwy 515 centrally located between Ellijay and Blue Ridge which are both just 15 min away. It’s a quiet, walkable community with a mix of full-time residents and vacationers and you are sure to see plenty of wildlife, especially at dusk and dawn.

About us.
It all began with a dream. We are empty-nesters from Peachtree City, GA who were looking for a getaway to disconnect from our everyday lives to reconnect with each other. After traveling up to this charming little neighborhood of log cabins for the past couple of years we decided it was time to invest in the area and share our experience with you.
